Founder R. Andrew Prchlik leads an enthusiastic group of well trained carpenters through many types of construction ranging widely in scope from full home construction , to room renovations and further to routine home repair. We specialize in fine up market custom homes, home renovation, finish carpentry, and Light Commercial Projects. While an impeccable final product is the critical component to our customers overall satisfaction, you cannot understate the importance of the journey to reach that end.
Main Street Building continues to thrive as a full-time endeavor, having established a pedigree with a broad portfolio of work performed from Boston to Providence. It is currently enjoying it's ninth anniversary and squarely aiming for many more to come.
In the attempt to illustrate by means of pictures, the stages of Zen discipline, a great master, Kaku-an Shi-en, belonging to the Rinzai school of Zen, authored a series of Ten Ox Herding Pictures. Three other versions were similarly offered by his contemporaries and all sought to delineate the Zen doctrine, differing only in nuanced fashion, the most notable of those differences being that those which came before had fewer images and ended with the disappearance of the whole being, depicted as an empty circle.
